1. Developer and privacy contact
Standing is developed and published by Kodaworm. Kodaworm is responsible for personal data processed by its own Standing services. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@kodaworm.com.
2. Data stored on your device
Standing stores the information you create locally in application-private storage. This can include people, debt and repayment entries, notes, settings, archive state, and operational metadata required to keep your records consistent.
Kodaworm does not receive this local financial content through normal app operation.
3. Backups
Standing lets you explicitly save or share portable backup files. These files are user-managed. Kodaworm does not receive their contents. If you choose to place a backup in another service, that service’s privacy terms apply to the copy you provide to it.
4. Google Play purchase verification
If you use Standing Pro, Standing may send limited commerce data needed to verify your purchase to Kodaworm’s purchase-verification service and Google Play. This can include the application or package identity, product identity, purchase token, purchase state, and limited operational data needed to verify, acknowledge, and reconcile the purchase.
The purchase-verification service is not designed to receive local financial content such as names, notes, debt values, repayment values, or backup contents.
5. Why commerce data is processed
Kodaworm processes the limited commerce data described above to confirm Standing Pro entitlement, acknowledge and reconcile purchases, reflect refunds or other purchase-state changes, prevent abuse, investigate purchase-related support issues, and operate the purchase-verification service.
Where data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, the legal basis depends on the purpose: processing may be necessary to provide the purchase-related service you request, to comply with legal obligations, or for Kodaworm’s legitimate interests in securing the service and preventing abuse where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
6. Data sharing
Kodaworm does not sell personal data. Limited commerce data may be processed by Google Play and by infrastructure providers used to host or secure the purchase-verification service. Those providers receive only the information needed for their role and process it under their own applicable terms or service agreements.
7. Security
Standing keeps local financial records in application-private storage. When commerce data is sent for purchase verification, it is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Kodaworm limits the purchase-verification interface to the data and operations needed for entitlement handling.
No system can guarantee absolute security, but Standing is designed to minimize network exposure of financial content and to keep purchase-related processing separate from local records.
8. Retention and deletion
Local Standing data remains on your device until you change or erase it, uninstall the app, or restore different data. Backup files remain wherever you chose to save them until you delete them.
Commerce and operational records handled by Kodaworm are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain entitlement state, handle refunds or chargebacks, prevent abuse, investigate purchase-related issues, secure the service, and meet applicable accounting or legal obligations. When those reasons no longer apply, the records are deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
Google Play ownership, transaction, and commerce records held by Google are governed by Google’s own retention requirements and privacy terms.
9. Analytics and advertising
Standing does not use a general third-party analytics or advertising SDK. Kodaworm may rely on aggregate or operational information supplied by Google Play, such as store acquisition, installation, stability, purchase, and refund information.
10. Erasing Standing data
Standing includes controls for erasing its live local data. External backups you created are not deleted by the app. A request to Kodaworm can address personal data held by Kodaworm’s own services, subject to records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or purchase-accounting reasons.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to processing of personal data held by Kodaworm, and data portability where applicable. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection or supervisory authority.
To make a privacy request, contact support@kodaworm.com. Kodaworm may need enough information to verify and scope the request without asking for your local financial records.
12. Children
Standing is not directed specifically to children. If applicable law requires a different age threshold or additional consent in your jurisdiction, those requirements apply.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Standing’s functionality, legal obligations, or data-processing practices change. The current version will be published at this URL with its revision date.
